How to automatically create a new record or update an existing one in Airtable every time there's a new booking in Cal.com

A playbook always starts with a trigger, which is responsible for detecting changes in your connected applications and responding accordingly.

Add the Cal.com trigger to initiate your playbook's actions every time there's a new booking. Click "Add trigger" in your playbook and choose "New booking" from the dropdown menu under Cal.com.

If you still need to connect your Cal.com account to Relay.app yet, a prompt will guide you through the process.

Integrate Airtable automation into your workflow to automatically create a new record or update an existing one in Airtable every time there's a new booking on Cal.com.

Click the "Add step" button, locate the "Create or update record" automation for Airtable, and input the mandatory and relevant details.

If your Airtable account still needs to be connected to Relay.app, you will be prompted to complete that connection. Make sure to allow the necessary permissions for Relay.app to sync with your Airtable account.

Activating the playbook is the last step in the process. Once you turn it on, it will automatically create a new record or update an existing one in Airtable whenever there's a new booking on Cal.com without requiring manual intervention.
