How to add a new person to your Slack channels for a new submission received in Paperform
Set the Paperform trigger as "Submission received"
Every playbook starts with a trigger. The trigger detects changes in your connected apps and initiates your playbook's actions.
Click "Add trigger" and select "Submission received" under Paperform automation. Then, select the form. This will allow your playbook to automatically detect new submissions received in Paperform and initiate necessary actions.
If this is your first time using a Paperform integration in Relay.app, a prompt will guide you through the connection process.
Add the "Add to channel" in Slack automation
Integrate the Slack automation into your playbook to ensure the prompt addition of the respondents to the channel for each submission received in Paperform.
Click the "Add step" button, then locate the "Add to channel" automation for Slack and input the mandatory and relevant details.
If your Slack account isn't already connected to Relay.app, you will be prompted to complete that connection. Make sure to allow the necessary permissions for Relay.app to sync with your Slack account.
Activate your Relay.app playbook
Activating your playbook is the final step to automate the addition of a new user in the Slack channel. Once turned on, it will respond to a new submission received in Paperform by adding the respondents as a user to the Slack channel without manual intervention.
To enable your playbook, click the toggle button located in the header. It is advisable to perform a test run of your playbook beforehand to ensure all steps work seamlessly together and reminders are being sent correctly.
