How to create a channel in Slack for a new submission received in Paperform
Add the Paperform "Submission received" trigger
Every playbook starts with a trigger. The trigger detects changes in your connected apps and runs your playbook in response.
Click "Add trigger" and select "Submission received" under Paperform. Then, select a form. This trigger will automatically detect all the new submissions received in Paperform to create a new channel in Slack.
If this is your first time using a Paperform integration in Relay.app, you'll be prompted to connect your Paperform account.
Add the Slack "Create channel" automation
Integrate the Slack automation into your playbook to ensure the prompt creation of a new channel in Slack for every new form submission in Paperform. Add a new step and select "Create channel" from the list of Slack automations.
Connect Slack to Relay.app if you haven't already, then fill out the mandatory and relevant details You can reference fields from Paperform to automatically pass along the right data.
Turn on the playbook
Activating your playbook is the final step to automate creating a new channel in Slack for every submission received in Paperform. Once turned on, it will respond to every submission received in Paperform by creating a new channel in Slack without manual intervention.
To enable your playbook, click the toggle button located in the header. It is advisable to perform a test run of your playbook beforehand to ensure all steps work seamlessly together and reminders are sent correctly.
