How to add a record in Airtable when a conversation is assigned in Front
Set the Front trigger as "Conversation is assigned"
Every playbook starts with a trigger. The trigger detects changes in your connected apps and runs your playbook in response.
Click "Add trigger" and select "Conversation is assigned" under Front. Then, select the necessary details. This will allow your playbook to automatically detect the conversations that are assigned in Front and initiate necessary actions.
If this is your first time using a Front integration in Relay.app, a prompt will guide you through the connection process.
Add the "Add record to table" in Airtable automation
Integrate the Airtable automation into your playbook to ensure the prompt addition of a new record to the table for each conversation that is assigned in Front.
Click the "Add step" button, then locate the "Add record to table" automation for Airtable and input the mandatory and relevant details.
If your Airtable account isn't already connected to Relay.app, you will be prompted to complete that connection. Make sure to allow the necessary permissions for Relay.app to sync with your Airtable account.
Activate your Relay.app playbook
Activating your playbook is the final step to automate the addition of a new record in Airtable. Once turned on, it will respond when a conversation in Front is assigned by adding a new record in Airtable without manual intervention.
To enable your playbook, click the toggle button located in the header. It is advisable to perform a test run of your playbook beforehand to ensure all steps work seamlessly together and reminders are being sent correctly.
