How to send DocuSign envelopes for every closed Pipedrive deal
Set the Pipedrive trigger as “Deal closed”
Add the Pipedrive trigger to initiate your playbook's actions before closing deals.
To do this, click "Add trigger" in your playbook. Choose the "Deal closed" trigger from the Pipedrive options. It will enable your playbook to automatically identify newly closed deals and trigger necessary actions.
If you have yet to connect your Pipedrive account to Relay, a prompt will guide you through the connection process.
Add the “Send envelope from template” in DocuSign step
Integrate the DocuSign automation into your playbook to ensure the prompt sending of envelopes.
Select "Add step," then locate the "Send envelope from template" automation for DocuSign, then choose a template (an example is "NDA") and input the relevant details, such as Email subject, Email body, Party A email, Party A name, Party B email, and Party B name.
If your DocuSign account isn't connected to Relay, you will be prompted to complete that connection. Make sure to allow the necessary permissions for Relay to send envelopes through your DocuSign account.
Activate your playbook
Activating your playbook is the final step to automate Pipedrive deal progress via DocuSign. Once turned on, it will respond to send envelopes using a template in DocuSign whenever a deal is closed in Pipedrive without manual intervention.
To enable your playbook, click the toggle button located in the header. It is advisable to perform a test run of your playbook beforehand to ensure all steps work seamlessly together.
