How to add tags to Drip subscribers from new Google Sheets rows
Add the Google Sheets "Row added" trigger
Every playbook starts with a trigger. The trigger detects changes in your connected apps and runs your playbook in response.
Click "Add trigger" and select "Row added" under Google Sheets. Then, select the specific sheet. This trigger will detect all the new rows added in Google Sheets to add a tag to a subscriber in Drip.
If this is your first time using a Google Sheets integration in Relay, you'll be prompted to connect your Google Sheets account.
Add the Drip "Add tag to subscriber" automation
Integrate the Drip automation into your playbook to ensure the prompt addition of tags to subscribers in Drip for every new row added in Google Sheets. Add a new step and select "Add a tag to subscriber" from the list of Drip automations.
Connect Drip to Relay if you haven't already, then fill out the mandatory and relevant details. You can reference fields from Google Sheets to automatically pass along the right data.
Turn on the playbook
Activating your playbook is the final step to automate adding tags to subscribers in Drip for every new row added in Google Sheets. Once turned on, it will respond to new rows added in Google Sheets by adding tags to subscribers in Drip without manual intervention.
To enable your playbook, click the toggle button located in the header. It is advisable to perform a test run of your playbook beforehand to ensure all steps work seamlessly together and reminders are sent correctly.
