How to create new client in Harvest from a new Trello list
Set the Trello trigger as "New list added"
Every playbook starts with a trigger. The trigger detects changes in your connected apps and initiates your playbook's actions.
Click "Add trigger" and select "New list added" under Trello automation. Then, select the board. This will allow your playbook to automatically detect new lists added in Trello and initiate necessary actions.
If this is your first time using a Trello integration in Relay.app, a prompt will guide you through the connection process.
Add the "Get or create client" in Harvest automation
Integrate the Harvest automation into your playbook to ensure the prompt creation of a new client for each list added to the Trello board.
Click the "Add step" button, then locate the "Get or create client" automation for Harvest and input the mandatory and relevant details.
If your Harvest account isn't already connected to Relay.app, you will be prompted to complete that connection. Make sure to allow the necessary permissions for Relay.app to sync with your Harvest account.
Activate your Relay.app playbook
Activating your playbook is the final step to automate the creation of a new client in Harvest. Once turned on, it will respond to a new list added to the Trello board by creating a corresponding client record in Harvest without manual intervention.
To enable your playbook, click the toggle button located in the header. It is advisable to perform a test run of your playbook beforehand to ensure all steps work seamlessly together and reminders are being sent correctly.
