Add the AirTable "Record created" trigger

Every playbook starts with a trigger. The trigger detects changes in your connected apps and runs your playbook in response.

Click "Add trigger" and select "Record created" under AirTable. Then, select your table. Then, select the form. This trigger will automatically detect all the new record created in AirTable to add a new subscriber in MailChimp list.

If this is your first time using an AirTable integration in Relay, you'll be prompted to connect your AirTable account.

2

Add the MailChimp "Add subscriber to list" automation

Integrate the MailChimp into your playbook to ensure prompt addition of the subscriber to the MailChimp list for every new record in AirTable. Add a new step and select "Add subscriber to list" from the list of MailChimp automations.

Connect MailChimp to Relay if you haven't already, then fill out the mandatory and relevant details. You can reference fields from AirTable to automatically pass along the right data.

3

Turn on the playbook

Activating your playbook is the final step in your process. Once turned on, it will respond to new records created in AirTable by adding a subscriber to the MailChimp list without manual intervention.

To enable your playbook, click the toggle button located in the header. It is advisable to perform a test run of your playbook beforehand to ensure all steps work seamlessly together and reminders are sent correctly.
