How to automatically add records to an Airtable table whenever your Mailchimp subscribers are updated
Set the Mailchimp trigger as “Subscriber updated”
Add the Mailchimp trigger to initiate your playbook's actions before updating subscriber details.
To do this, click "Add trigger" in your playbook. Choose the "Subscriber updated" trigger from the Mailchimp options. It will enable your playbook to automatically identify newly updated subscribers and trigger necessary actions.
If you have yet to connect your Mailchimp account to Relay.app, a prompt will guide you through the connection process.
Add the “Add record to table” in Airtable
Integrate the Airtable automation to instantly add records from Mailchimp subscribers.
Select "Add Step" and search for the "Add record to table" automation. Then, choose the table where you want to add a record - let's say it's the "Relay.app Inc" table. Once you've selected the table, click on all the relevant fields and fill in the necessary details, such as Full name, Email address, Status, Tags, First name, Last name, Phone number, and Birthday.
If you still need to connect your Airtable account to Relay.app, you will be prompted to complete that connection. Make sure to allow the necessary permissions for Relay.app to add records through your Airtable account.
Activate your playbook
Activating your playbook is the last step in the process. Once you turn it on, it will automatically update Mailchimp subscribers to Airtable records without manual intervention.
To activate your playbook, click the toggle button in the header. Before starting it, we recommend running a test to ensure all the steps work seamlessly together.
