How to automatically create a Google Calendar event and invite new Pipedrive leads
Add the Pipedrive "Lead added" trigger
Every playbook starts with a trigger. The trigger detects changes in your connected apps and runs your playbook in response.
Click "Add trigger" and select "Lead added" under Pipedrive. Then, select the necessary inputs. This trigger will automatically detect all the new leads added in Pipedrive to create new events and invite the leads as guests in Google Calendar meetings.
If this is your first time using a Pipedrive integration in Relay, you'll be prompted to connect your Pipedrive account.
Add the Google Calendar "Add guests to meeting" automation
Integrate the Google Calendar automation into your playbook to ensure the prompt addition of guests in meetings from Pipedrive leads. Add a new step and select "Add guests to meeting" from the list of Google Calendar automations.
Connect Google Calendar to Relay if you haven't already, then fill out the mandatory and relevant details. You can reference fields from Pipedrive to automatically pass along the right data.
Turn on the playbook
Activating your playbook is the final step to automate adding guests to Google Calendar events from Pipedrive leads. Once turned on, it will respond to new leads added in Pipedrive by adding the leads as guests in the Google Calendar event without manual intervention.
To enable your playbook, click the toggle button located in the header. It is advisable to perform a test run of your playbook beforehand to ensure all steps work seamlessly together and reminders are sent correctly.
