How to add MailChimp subscribers to a list when Asana tasks are completed
Add the Asana "Task completed" trigger
Every playbook starts with a trigger. The trigger detects changes in your connected apps and runs your playbook in response.
Click "Add trigger" and select "Task completed" under Asana. Then, select the project. This trigger will automatically detect all the completed task in Asana to add new subscriber to MailChimp list.
If this is your first time using an Asana integration in Relay, you'll be prompted to connect your Asana account.
Add the MailChimp "Add subscriber to list" automation
Integrate the MailChimp automation into your playbook to ensure prompt subscriber addition to the MailChimp list for every completed task in Asana. Add a new step and select "Add subscriber to list" from the list of MailChimp automations.
Connect MailChimp to Relay if you haven't already, then fill out the mandatory and relevant details. You can reference fields from Asana to automatically pass along the right data.
Turn on the playbook
Activating your playbook is the final step to automate adding subscribers to the MailChimp list for every completed task in Asana. Once turned on, it will respond to a completed task in Asana by adding a subscriber to the MailChimp list without manual intervention.
To enable your playbook, click the toggle button located in the header. It is advisable to perform a test run of your playbook beforehand to ensure all steps work seamlessly together and reminders are sent correctly.
