How to add new Cal.com bookings to Retable

Relay.app is an automation tool that lets you automate actions across Retable, Cal.com, and many other apps. In this guide, we'll show you how to automatically run the “add row to table” action in Retable for each new booking in Cal.com using Relay.app.

Add the Cal.com trigger

Every playbook starts with a trigger. The trigger detects changes in your connected apps and responds to your playbook.

Click "Add trigger" and select "New booking" under Cal.com. Then, select the event type. If this is your first time using a Cal.com integration in Relay, you'll be prompted to connect your Cal.com account.

Now, every time there's a new booking on Cal.com, your playbook will run automatically.

Add the Retable "Add row" automation

Now, you can add a new row in Retable. Add a further step and select "Add row" from the list of Retable automations.

Connect Retable to Relay if you haven't already, then fill out the details like the table name and the values you want to add. You can reference fields from Cal.com to pass along the correct data automatically.

Turn on the playbook

When you are done with the playbook, it's time to turn it on.

The playbook will now run automatically whenever there's a new booking on Cal.com. You can also click "Check now" to manually check whenever you'd like.
