How to automate sending a DocuSign envelope from a template for every new response submitted in Google Forms
Add the Google Forms "Form response submitted" trigger
Every playbook starts with a trigger. The trigger detects changes in your connected apps and runs your playbook in response.
Click "Add trigger" and select "Form response submitted" under Google Forms. Then, select the form. This trigger will automatically detect all the new form responses submitted in Google Forms to send the specific DocuSign envelope.
If this is your first time using a Google Forms integration in Relay, you'll be prompted to connect your Google Forms account.
Add the DocuSign "Send envelope from template" automation
Integrate the DocuSign automation into your playbook to ensure that the DocuSign is promptly sent for every new Google Forms response submitted. Add a new step and select "Send envelope from template" from the list of DocuSign automations.
Connect DocuSign to Relay if you haven't already, then fill out the mandatory and relevant details. You can reference fields from Google Forms to automatically pass along the right data.
Turn on the playbook
Activating your playbook is the final step to automate sending the specific DocuSign envelope for every new Google Forms response submitted. Once turned on, it will respond to new Google Forms responses submitted by sending the specific DocuSign envelope without manual intervention.
To enable your playbook, click the toggle button located in the header. It is advisable to perform a test run of your playbook beforehand to ensure all steps work seamlessly together and reminders are sent correctly.
