How to automatically add new Stripe subscription records as tasks in Asana
Add the Stripe "Subscription created" trigger
Every playbook starts with a trigger. The trigger detects changes in your connected apps and runs your playbook in response.
Click "Add trigger" and select "Subscription created" under Stripe. Then, select the necessary details from the Stripe event that you'd like to monitor. This trigger will automatically detect all the new subscribers created in Stripe to create a new task in Asana.
If this is your first time using a Stripe integration in Relay, you'll be prompted to connect your Stripe account. Now, every time a subscription is created in Stripe, your playbook will run automatically.
Add the Asana "Create task" automation
Integrate the Asana automation into your playbook to ensure the prompt creation of a new Asana task for each subscription created in Stripe. Add a new step and select "Create task" from the list of Asana automations.
Connect Asana to Relay if you haven't already, then fill out the mandatory and relevant details. You can reference fields from Stripe to automatically pass along the right data.
Turn on the playbook
Activating your playbook is the final step to automate adding a new task in Asana for every new subscription created in Stripe. Once turned on, it will respond to the new subscription created in Stripe by creating a new task in Asana without manual intervention.
To enable your playbook, click the toggle button located in the header. It is advisable to perform a test run of your playbook beforehand to ensure all steps work seamlessly together and reminders are sent correctly.
