How to automatically add rows in a Coda table from new Attio records

Relay.app is an automation tool that lets you automate actions across Coda, Attio, and many other apps. In this guide, we'll show you how to automatically run the “add row” action in Coda for each record created in Attio using Relay.app.

1

Add the Attio trigger

Every playbook starts with a trigger. This trigger detects all the new records created in Attio.

Click "Add trigger" and select "Record created" under Attio. Then, select the object. If this is your first time using an Attio integration in Relay, you'll be prompted to connect your Attio account.

Now, every time a record is created in Attio, your playbook will run automatically and proceed to complete the automation.

2

Add the Coda "Add row to table" automation

Now, all the new records in Attio will automatically be added to a new row in Coda table. Add a new step and select "Add row to table" from the list of Coda automations.

Connect Coda to Relay if you haven't already, then fill out the necessary details. You can reference fields from Attio to automatically pass along the right data.

3

Turn on the playbook

When you are done with the playbook, it's time to turn it on.

The playbook will now run automatically whenever a record is created in Attio. You can also click "Check now" to do a manual check whenever you'd like.
