How to automatically create Outlook Calendar events from Tally submission
Create your playbook and set the Tally trigger as "New form submission
After creating your playbook, you can proceed to add your trigger. The trigger detects changes in your connected apps and runs your playbook in response.
To setup this playbook, click "Add trigger" and then select "New form submission" under Tally. Then, select the form. If this is your first time using a Tally integration in Relay.app, you'll be prompted to connect your Tally account.
Now, every time there is a new form submission in Tally, your playbook will run automatically.
Add the "Create event" in Outlook Calendar automation
Integrate the Outlook Calendar automation into your playbook to ensure the prompt creation of a new event for each new submission received in Tally.
Click the "Add step" button, then locate the "Create event" automation for Outlook Calendar and input the mandatory and relevant details.
If your Outlook Calendar account isn't already connected to Relay.app, you will be prompted to complete that connection. Make sure to allow the necessary permissions for Relay.app to sync with your Outlook Calendar account.
Activate your Relay.app playbook
Activating your playbook is the final step to automate the creation of a new event for each new submission is received in Tally. Once turned on, it will respond whenever a new submission is received to a specific form in Tally by creating a new event in Outlook Calendar without manual intervention.
To enable your playbook, click the toggle button located in the header. It is advisable to perform a test run of your playbook beforehand to ensure all steps work seamlessly together and reminders are being sent correctly.
