How to automatically share a Google Form for new Asana projects
Set the Asana trigger as "New project added"
Every playbook starts with a trigger. The trigger detects changes in your connected apps and runs your playbook in response.
Click "Add trigger" and select "New project added" under Asana. Then, select the workspace. This will allow your playbook to automatically detect the new project added in Asana and initiate necessary actions.
If this is your first time using an Asana integration in Relay.app, a prompt will guide you through the connection process.
Add the "Share form" in Google Forms automation
Integrate the Google Forms automation into your playbook to ensure the specific form is shared whenever a new project is added in Asana.
Click the "Add step" button, then locate the "Share form" automation for Google Forms and input the mandatory and relevant details.
If your Google Forms account isn't already connected to Relay.app, you will be prompted to complete that connection. Make sure to allow the necessary permissions for Relay.app to sync with your Google Forms account.
Activate your Relay.app playbook
Activating your playbook is the final step to automate sharing the specific Google Forms to the specific person. Once turned on, it will respond to a new project added in Asana by sharing the specific Google Forms to the project owner in Asana without manual intervention.
To enable your playbook, click the toggle button located in the header. It is advisable to perform a test run of your playbook beforehand to ensure all steps work seamlessly together and reminders are being sent correctly.
