How to create a new HubSpot contact when a new subscription is created in Paddle
Set the Paddle trigger as "Subscription created"
Every playbook starts with a trigger. The trigger detects changes in your connected apps and runs your playbook in response.
Click "Add trigger" and select "Subscription created" under Paddle. This will allow your playbook to automatically detect each newly created subscription in Paddle and initiate necessary actions.
If this is your first time using a Paddle integration in Relay.app, a prompt will guide you through the connection process.
Add the "Get or create contact" in HubSpot automation
Integrate the HubSpot automation into your playbook to ensure the prompt creation of a new contact in HubSpot from each new subscription created in Paddle.
Click the "Add step" button, then locate the "Get or create contact" automation for HubSpot and input the mandatory and relevant details.
If your HubSpot account isn't already connected to Relay.app, you will be prompted to complete that connection. Make sure to allow the necessary permissions for Relay.app to sync with your HubSpot account.
Activate your Relay.app playbook
Activating your playbook is the final step to automate the creation of a new contact in HubSpot. Once turned on, it will respond to each new subscription created in Paddle by creating a new contact in HubSpot without manual intervention.
To enable your playbook, click the toggle button located in the header. It is advisable to perform a test run of your playbook beforehand to ensure all steps work seamlessly together and reminders are being sent correctly.
