How to create a new HubSpot contact when an Asana task is completed
Set the Asana trigger as "Task completed"
Every playbook starts with a trigger. The trigger detects changes in your connected apps and initiates your playbook's actions.
Click "Add trigger" and select "Task completed" under Asana automation. Then, select the project. This will allow your playbook to automatically detect completed tasks in Asana and initiate necessary actions.
If this is your first time using an Asana integration in the Relay.app, a prompt will guide you through the connection process.
Add the "Get or create contact" in HubSpot automation
Integrate the HubSpot automation into your playbook to ensure the prompt creation of a new contact for each completed task in Asana.
Click the "Add step" button, then locate the "Get or create contact" automation for HubSpot and input the mandatory and relevant details.
If your HubSpot account isn't already connected to Relay.app, you will be prompted to complete that connection. Make sure to allow the necessary permissions for Relay.app to sync with your HubSpot account.
Activate your Relay.app playbook
Activating your playbook is the final step to automate the creation of a new contact in HubSpot. Once turned on, it will respond to the completed task in Asana by creating a new contact in HubSpot without manual intervention.
To enable your playbook, click the toggle button located in the header. It is advisable to perform a test run of your playbook beforehand to ensure all steps work seamlessly together and reminders are being sent correctly.
