How to create a new record in SmartSuite for a new subscriber in Paddle
Set the Paddle trigger as "Subscription created"
Every playbook starts with a trigger. The trigger detects changes in your connected apps and runs your playbook in response.
Click "Add trigger" and select "Subscription created" under Paddle. This will allow your playbook to automatically detect the (trigger action) and initiate necessary actions.
If this is your first time using a Paddle integration in Relay.app, a prompt will guide you through the connection process.
Add the "Create record" in SmartSuite automation
Integrate the SmartSuite automation into your playbook to ensure the prompt creates a new record in SmartSuite when there's a new subscription created in Paddle.
Click the "Add step" button, then locate the "Create record" automation for SmartSuite and input the mandatory and relevant details.
If your SmartSuite account isn't already connected to Relay.app, you will be prompted to complete that connection. Make sure to allow the necessary permissions for Relay.app to sync with your SmartSuite account.
Activate your Relay.app playbook
Activating your playbook is the final step to automate the creation of a new record in SmartSuite. Once turned on, it will respond to newly created subscriptions in Paddle by creating a new record in SmartSuite without manual intervention.
To enable your playbook, click the toggle button located in the header. It is advisable to perform a test run of your playbook beforehand to ensure all steps work seamlessly together and reminders are being sent correctly.
