How to create a new task in Asana for a new form received in Jotform

Every playbook starts with a trigger. The trigger detects changes in your connected apps and runs your playbook in response.

Click "Add trigger" and select "Form submission received" under Jotform. Then, select the form. This will allow your playbook to automatically detect the new form submitted in Jotform and initiate necessary actions.

If this is your first time using a Jotform integration in Relay.app, a prompt will guide you through the connection process.

Integrate the Asana automation into your playbook to ensure the prompt creation of a new task for each form submission received in Jotform.

Click the "Add step" button, then locate the "Create task" automation for Asana and input the mandatory and relevant details.

If your Asana account isn't already connected to Relay.app, you will be prompted to complete that connection. Make sure to allow the necessary permissions for Relay.app to sync with your Asana account.

Activating your playbook is the final step to automate the creation of a new task in Asana. Once turned on, it will respond to a new form submission received in Jotform by creating a corresponding task in Asana without manual intervention.

To enable your playbook, click the toggle button located in the header. It is advisable to perform a test run of your playbook beforehand to ensure all steps work seamlessly together and reminders are being sent correctly.
