How to create a new task in Google Tasks when a payment attempt is added in Paddle
Set the Paddle trigger as "Payment attempt made"
Every playbook starts with a trigger. The trigger detects changes in your connected apps and runs your playbook in response.
Click "Add trigger" and select "Payment attempt made" under Paddle. This will allow your playbook to automatically detect any payment attempts made in Paddle and initiate necessary actions.
If this is your first time using a Paddle integration in Relay.app, a prompt will guide you through the connection process.
Add the "Create task" in Google Tasks automation
Integrate the Google Tasks automation into your playbook to ensure the prompt creation of new tasks whenever a payment attempt has been made in Paddle.
Click the "Add step" button, then locate the "Create task" automation for Google Tasks and input the mandatory and relevant details.
If your Google Tasks account isn't already connected to Relay.app, you will be prompted to complete that connection. Make sure to allow the necessary permissions for Relay.app to sync with your Google Tasks account.
Activate your Relay.app playbook
Activating your playbook is the final step to automate the creation of a new task in Google Tasks. Once turned on, it will respond whenever a payment attempt has been made in Paddle by creating a task in Google Tasks without manual intervention.
To enable your playbook, click the toggle button located in the header. It is advisable to perform a test run of your playbook beforehand to ensure all steps work seamlessly together and reminders are being sent correctly.
