How to create a SmartSuite record from a new Mailchimp subscriber
Add the Mailchimp trigger
Every playbook starts with a trigger. The trigger detects changes in your connected apps and runs your playbook in response.
Click "Add trigger" and select "New subscriber" under Mailchimp. Then, select the specific audience you want to monitor for new subscribers. If this is your first time using a Mailchimp integration in Relay, you'll be prompted to connect your Mailchimp account.
Now, every time a new subscriber joins your Mailchimp audience, your playbook will run automatically.
Add the SmartSuite Create record automation
Now you can create a new record in SmartSuite. Add a new step and select "Create record" from the list of SmartSuite automations.
Connect SmartSuite to Relay if you haven't already, then fill out the details like Table and Fields. You can reference fields from Mailchimp to automatically pass along the right data.
Turn on the playbook
When you are done with the playbook, it's time to turn it on.
The playbook will now run automatically whenever a new subscriber is added to your Mailchimp audience. You can also click "Check now" to do a manual check whenever you'd like.
