How to create new records in Salesforce for new rows added in a Coda table
Add the Coda trigger
Every playbook starts with a trigger. The trigger detects all the new rows that has been added in Coda table.
Click "Add trigger" and select "Row added to table" under Coda. Then, select the table. If this is your first time using a Coda integration in Relay, you'll be prompted to connect your Coda account.
Now, every time a row is added to a table in Coda, your playbook will run automatically.
Add the Salesforce "Create record" automation
Now all the new customers added in your Coda table will automatically create a new record in Salesforce. Add a new step and select "Create record" from the list of Salesforce automations.
Connect Salesforce to Relay if you haven't already, then fill out the necessary details. You can reference fields from Coda to automatically pass along the right data.
Turn on the playbook
When you are done with the playbook, it's time to turn it on.
The playbook will now run automatically whenever a row is added to a table in Coda. You can also click "Check now" to do a manual check whenever you'd like.
