How to send a new DocuSign envelope when a new transaction is created in Paddle

Set the Paddle trigger as "Transaction created"

Every playbook starts with a trigger. The trigger detects changes in your connected apps and runs your playbook in response.

Click "Add trigger" and select "Transaction created" under Paddle. Then, select key details to monitor. This will allow your playbook to automatically detect each new transaction created in Paddle and initiate necessary actions.

If this is your first time using a Paddle integration in Relay.app, a prompt will guide you through the connection process.

Add the "Send envelope from template" in DocuSign automation

Integrate the DocuSign automation into your playbook to ensure the prompt send of the specific envelope for each new transaction created in Paddle.

Click the "Add step" button, then locate the "Send envelope from template" automation for DocuSign and input the mandatory and relevant details.

If your DocuSign account isn't already connected to Relay.app, you will be prompted to complete that connection. Make sure to allow the necessary permissions for Relay.app to sync with your DocuSign account.

Activate your Relay.app playbook

Activating your playbook is the final step to automate the sending of a DocuSign envelope. Once turned on, it will respond to each new transaction created in Paddle by sending the specific envelope in DocuSign without manual intervention.

To enable your playbook, click the toggle button located in the header. It is advisable to perform a test run of your playbook beforehand to ensure all steps work seamlessly together and reminders are being sent correctly.
