How to sync new Cal.com bookings with SmartSuite records

Every playbook starts with a trigger. The trigger detects changes in your connected apps and runs your playbook in response.

To set up this playbook, click "Add trigger" and then select "New booking" under Cal.com. Then, select details like the event type. This will allow your playbook to automatically detect the new bookings in Cal.com and initiate necessary actions.

If this is your first time using a Cal.com integration in Relay.app, a prompt will guide you through the connection process.

Integrate the SmartSuite automation into your playbook to ensure the prompt creation of a new record in SmartSuite when a new booking has been made on Cal.com.

Click the "Add step" button, then locate the "Create record" automation for SmartSuite and input the mandatory and relevant details.

If your SmartSuite account isn't already connected to Relay.app, you will be prompted to complete that connection. Make sure to allow the necessary permissions for Relay.app to sync with your SmartSuite account.

Activating your playbook is the final step to automate the creation of a new record in SmartSuite. Once turned on, it will respond to each new booking made on Cal.com by creating a new record on SmartSuite without manual intervention.

To enable your playbook, click the toggle button located in the header. It is advisable to perform a test run of your playbook beforehand to ensure all steps work seamlessly together and reminders are being sent correctly.
