How to sync new Retable rows with Mailchimp subscribers

Relay.app is an automation tool that lets you automate actions across Mailchimp, Retable, and many other apps. In this guide, we'll show you how to automatically run the “add subscriber to list” action in Mailchimp for each row added in Retable using Relay.app.

Add the Retable trigger

Every playbook starts with a trigger. The trigger detects changes in your connected apps and responds to your playbook.

Click "Add trigger" and select "Row added" under Retable. Then, like a table. If this is your first time using a Retable integration in Relay, you'll be prompted to connect your Retable account.

Every time a row is added in Retable, your playbook will run automatically.

2

Add the Mailchimp "Add subscriber to list" automation

Now, you can add a subscriber to a Mailchimp list. Add a new step and select "Add subscriber to list" from the list of Mailchimp automations.

Connect Mailchimp to Relay if you haven't already, then fill out the details like an audience, an email address, status, tags, and if a subscriber exists. You can reference fields from Retable to pass along the correct data automatically.

3

Turn on the playbook

When you are done with the playbook, it's time to turn it on.

The playbook will now run automatically whenever a row is added in Retable. You can also click "Check now" to manually check whenever you'd like.
