How to add a new page to a Notion database for any new Trello list
Set the Trello trigger as "New list added"
Every playbook starts with a trigger. The trigger detects changes in your connected apps and initiates your playbook's actions.
Click "Add trigger" and select "New list added" under Trello automation. Then, select the board. This will allow your playbook to automatically detect new lists added in Trello and initiate necessary actions.
If this is your first time using a Trello integration in Relay.app, a prompt will guide you through the connection process.
Add the "Add page to database" in Notion automation
Integrate the Notion automation to instantly add a page for a new list added in Trello.
Select "Add step", then locate the "Add page to database" automation for Notion, select your target database and input the relevant details.
If your Notion account isn't already connected to Relay.app, you will be prompted to complete that connection. Make sure to allow the necessary permissions for Relay.app to add a page through your Notion account.
Activate your Relay.app playbook
Activating your playbook is the final step to automate the creation of a new page in the Notion database. Once turned on, it will respond to a new list added to the Trello board by creating a new page in the Notion database without manual intervention.
To enable your playbook, click the toggle button located in the header. It is advisable to perform a test run of your playbook beforehand to ensure all steps work seamlessly together and reminders are being sent correctly.
