How to add a new Pipedrive task whenever a subscription is cancelled in Paddle
Set the Paddle trigger as "Subscription status changed"
Every playbook starts with a trigger. The trigger detects changes in your connected apps and runs your playbook in response.
Click "Add trigger" and select "Subscription status changed" under Paddle. This will allow your playbook to automatically detect any cancellation of subscriptions in Paddle and initiate necessary actions.
If this is your first time using a Paddle integration in Relay.app, a prompt will guide you through the connection process.
Add the "Add task" in Pipedrive automation
Integrate the Pipedrive automation into your playbook to ensure the prompt creation of a new task in Pipedrive when there's a cancellation of subscription in Paddle.
Click the "Add step" button, then locate the "Add task" automation for Pipedrive and input the mandatory and relevant details.
If your Pipedrive account isn't already connected to Relay.app, you will be prompted to complete that connection. Make sure to allow the necessary permissions for Relay.app to sync with your Pipedrive account.
Turn on the playbook
Activating your playbook is the final step to automate the addition of a new task in Pipedrive. Once turned on, it will respond to a canceled subscription in Paddle by adding a new task in Pipedrive without manual intervention.
To enable your playbook, click the toggle button located in the header. It is advisable to perform a test run of your playbook beforehand to ensure all steps work seamlessly together and reminders are being sent correctly.
