How to add the Paddle payment attempt as a new page in your Notion database
Set the Paddle trigger as "Payment attempt made"
Every playbook starts with a trigger. The trigger detects changes in your connected apps and runs your playbook in response.
Click "Add trigger" and select "Payment attempt made" under Paddle. This will allow your playbook to automatically detect any payment attempt made in Paddle and initiate necessary actions.
If this is your first time using Paddle integration in Relay.app, a prompt will guide you through the connection process.
Add the "Add database page to database" in Notion automation
Integrate the Notion automation into your playbook to ensure the prompt creation of a new database page whenever a payment attempt has been made in Paddle.
Click the "Add step" button, then locate the "Add database page to database" automation for Notion and input the mandatory and relevant details.
If your Notion account isn't already connected to Relay.app, you will be prompted to complete that connection. Make sure to allow the necessary permissions for Relay.app to sync with your Notion account.
Activate your Relay.app playbook
Activating your playbook is the final step to automate the creation of a new database page in Notion. Once turned on, it will respond whenever a payment attempt is made in Paddle by creating a new database page in Notion without manual intervention.
To enable your playbook, click the toggle button located in the header. It is advisable to perform a test run of your playbook beforehand to ensure all steps work seamlessly together and reminders are being sent correctly.
