How to automatically add a respondent in Jotform to a Slack channel

After creating your playbook, you can proceed to add your trigger. The trigger detects changes in your connected apps and runs your playbook in response.

To set up this playbook, click "Add trigger" and then select "Form submission received" under Jotform. Then, select the form. If this is your first time using a Jotform integration in Relay.app, you'll be prompted to connect your Jotform account.

Now, every time a form submission is received in Jotform, your playbook will run automatically.

Integrate the Slack automation into your playbook to ensure the prompt addition of a new respondent from Jotform to the Slack channel.

Click the "Add step" button, then locate the "Add to channel" automation for Slack and input the mandatory and relevant details.

If your Slack account isn't already connected to Relay.app, you will be prompted to complete that connection. Make sure to allow the necessary permissions for Relay.app to sync with your Slack account.

Activating your playbook is the final step to automate the addition of Jotform respondents to the Slack channel. Once turned on, it will respond to each newly received form in Jotform by adding the respondent to the Slack channel without manual intervention.

To enable your playbook, click the toggle button located in the header. It is advisable to perform a test run of your playbook beforehand to ensure all steps work seamlessly together and reminders are being sent correctly.
