How to automatically attach a Google Slides presentation to Google Calendar events
Add the Google Slides "Presentation added to folder" trigger
Every playbook starts with a trigger. The trigger detects changes in your connected apps and runs your playbook in response.
Click "Add trigger" and select "Presentation added to folder" under Google Slides. Then, select the parent folder where the presentations are added. This trigger will automatically detect all the Google Slides presentations added to the designated folder to schedule new events in Google.
If this is your first time using a Google Slides integration in Relay, you'll be prompted to connect your Google Slides account.
Add the Google Calendar "Attach to event" automation
Integrate the Google Calendar automation into your playbook to ensure prompt scheduling of new events in Google Calendar attaching the presentation added to the designated folder in Google Slides. Add a new step and select "Attach to event" from the list of Google Calendar automations.
Connect Google Calendar to Relay if you haven't already, then fill out the mandatory and relevant details. You can reference fields from Google Slides to automatically pass along the right data.
Turn on the playbook
Activating your playbook is the final step to automate scheduling new events in Google Calendar attaching the presentation added to a designated folder in Google Slides. Once turned on, it will respond to the presentation added to the designated folder in Google Slides by scheduling a new event in Google Calendar attached to the presentation without manual intervention.
To enable your playbook, click the toggle button located in the header. It is advisable to perform a test run of your playbook beforehand to ensure all steps work seamlessly together and reminders are sent correctly.
