How to automatically send a notification email in Outlook whenever a new issue is added in Linear

After creating your playbook, you can proceed to add your trigger. The trigger detects changes in your connected apps and runs your playbook in response.

To set up this playbook, click "Add trigger" and then select "New issue added" under Linear. Then, select the necessary details. This will allow your playbook to automatically detect each new issue added in Linear and initiate necessary actions.

If this is your first time using a Linear integration in Relay.app, a prompt will guide you through the connection process.

Integrate the Outlook automation into your playbook to ensure the prompt sending of an email via Outlook whenever a new issue is added in Linear.

Click the "Add step" button, then locate the "Send email" automation for Outlook and input the mandatory and relevant details.

If your Outlook account isn't already connected to Relay.app, you will be prompted to complete that connection. Make sure to allow the necessary permissions for Relay.app to sync with your Outlook account.

Activating your playbook is the final step to automate the sending of an email via Outlook. Once turned on, it will respond whenever a new issue is added in Linear by sending an email via Outlook without manual intervention.
