How to automatically send a Slack message every time a payment is made through Stripe.

Add the Stripe trigger to initiate your playbook's actions before.

To do this, click "Add trigger" in your playbook. Select the "Payment created" trigger option from the dropdown menu under Stripe. It will enable your playbook to identify newly created payments and trigger necessary actions automatically.

If you have yet to connect your Stripe account to Relay, a prompt will guide you through the connection process.

Integrate the Slack automation into your playbook to ensure you receive timely updates about the newly created payment in the Stripe.

Select "Add Step" and then search for the "Send Message" automation for Slack. Fill in all the relevant details, including the sender's name, the Slack channel for updates, and the message body containing detailed information about the deal's progress.

If you still need to connect your Slack account to Relay, you will be prompted to complete that connection. Make sure to allow the necessary permissions for Relay to send messages through your Slack account.

Activating your playbook is the last step in your automation process. Once you turn it on, the playbook automatically sends Slack messages for new payments in Stripe without manual intervention.

To activate your playbook, click the toggle button in the header. Before starting it, we recommend running a test to ensure all the steps work seamlessly together.
