How to schedule new Lever interviews via Calendly
Add the Calendly trigger
Add the Calendly trigger to initiate your playbook's actions before upcoming events.
To do this, click "Add trigger" in your playbook and choose the Calendly "Newly scheduled events" trigger. This will allow your playbook to automatically detect new interviews and capture them in Lever
If you have not previously connected your Calendly account to Relay, a prompt will guide you through the connection process.
Find opportunity in Lever
Assuming you already have an opportunity available in Lever for this candidate, you can look it up by email using the "Get opportunity" step. To do this, click "Add step", then add the invitee email from Calendly to the query field.
If you don't have an opportunity available yet, you can also choose to add a "Create opportunity" automation instead, or even use paths to add it only if it does not exist yet.
If you have not previously connected your Lever account to Relay, a prompt will guide you through the connection process.
Create the interview panel
With the opportunity obtained in the previous step, you can now set up a "Create panel with interview" automation to record the newly scheduled interview event in Lever. Select "Add step", then fill out the fields as you'd like using data from the Calendly event.
Turn on your playbook
Activating your playbook is the final step to automate Lever interview scheduling using Calendly. Once turned on, it will respond to new Calendly events by creating a new interview in Lever automatically.
To enable your playbook, click the toggle button located in the top right. It is recommended to perform a test run of your playbook beforehand to ensure all steps work seamlessly together and the interviews show up as you'd expect.
