Relay.app is an automation tool that lets you automate actions across Pipedrive, Slack, and many other apps.

1

Add the Pipedrive trigger

Every playbook starts with a trigger. Go to your playbook and click "Add trigger." Then, select the "Deal updated" trigger from the Pipedrive options. By doing this, your playbook will be able to automatically detect any updates made to your deals and take the necessary actions accordingly.

If you haven't connected your Pipedrive account to Relay before, don't worry. A prompt will guide you through the connection process.

2

Add the "Send message" automation in Slack

Integrate the Slack automation into your playbook to ensure prompt updates are sent for updated Pipedrive deals.

Select "Add step" and locate the "Send Message" automation for Slack. Input the relevant details, such as the sender, the Slack channel for the updates, and the message body containing deal details.

If your Slack account is not connected to Relay, you will be prompted to complete that connection. Be sure to allow Relay the necessary permissions to send messages through your Slack account.

3

Activate your playbook

Activating your playbook is the last step to automate Pipedrive deal updates through Slack. Once you turn it on, the playbook automatically responds to the updated Pipedrive deals by sending notifications without manual intervention.

To activate your playbook, click the toggle button in the header. Before starting it, we recommend running a test to ensure all the steps work seamlessly together and the messages are sent correctly.
