How to share a Google Drive file to Jotform respondents
Create your playbook and set the Jotform trigger as "Form submission received"
After creating your playbook, you can proceed to add your trigger. The trigger detects changes in your connected apps and responds to your playbook.
To setup this playbook, click "Add trigger" and then select "Form submission received" under Jotform. Then, select the form you're tracking. If this is your first time using a Jotform integration in Relay.app, you'll be prompted to connect your Jotform account.
Now, every time a form submission is received in Jotform, your playbook will run automatically.
Add the "Share file" in Google Drive automation
Integrate the Google Drive automation into your playbook to ensure the prompt sharing of Google Drive files when a new form has been received on Jotform.
Click the "Add step" button, then locate the "Share file" automation for Google Drive and input the mandatory and relevant details.
If your Google Drive account isn't already connected to Relay.app, you will be prompted to complete that connection. Make sure to allow the necessary permissions for Relay.app to sync with your Google Drive account.
Activate your Relay.app playbook
Activating your playbook is the final step to automate the sharing of Google Drive files. Once turned on, it will respond to each newly received form in Jotform by sharing a Google Drive file without manual intervention.
To enable your playbook, click the toggle button located in the header. It is advisable to perform a test run of your playbook beforehand to ensure all steps work seamlessly together and reminders are being sent correctly.
