How to sync new Calendly events to Retable

Relay.app is an automation tool that lets you automate actions across Calendly, Retable, and many other apps. In this guide, we'll show you how to automatically run the “add row to table” action in Retable for each event scheduled in Calendly using Relay.app.

Add the Calendly trigger

Every playbook starts with a trigger. The trigger detects changes in your connected apps and responds to your playbook.

Click "Add trigger" and select "Newly scheduled events" under Calendly. Then, choose details like the event type and if you also want to trigger for events scheduled in other people's calendars. If this is your first time using a Calendly integration in Relay, you'll be prompted to connect your Calendly account.

Now, your playbook will run automatically whenever there's a newly-scheduled event in Calendly.

Add the Retable "Add row" automation

Now, you can add a row to Retable. Add a new step and select "Add row" from the list of Retable automations.

Connect Retable to Relay if you haven't already, then fill out the details like the table and values. You can reference fields from Calendly to pass along the correct data automatically.

Turn on the playbook

When you are done with the playbook, it's time to turn it on.

The playbook will now run automatically whenever there's a newly-scheduled event in Calendly. You can also click "Check now" to manually check whenever you'd like.
