How to automatically create an item in Webflow for a newly submitted response in Google Forms
Create your playbook and set the Google Forms trigger as "Form response submitted"
After creating your playbook, you can proceed to add your trigger. The trigger detects changes in your connected apps and runs your playbook in response.
To setup this playbook, click "Add trigger" and then select "Form response submitted" under Google Forms. Then, select details like the form. If this is your first time using a Google Forms integration in Relay.app, you'll be prompted to connect your Google Forms account.
Now, every time a form response is submitted in Google Forms, your playbook will run automatically.
Add the "Create item" in Webflow automation
Integrate the Webflow automation into your playbook to ensure the prompt creation of a new item in Webflow when a new form has been submitted in Google Forms.
Click the "Add step" button, then locate the "Create item" automation for Webflow and input the mandatory and relevant details.
If your Webflow account isn't already connected to Relay.app, you will be prompted to complete that connection. Make sure to allow the necessary permissions for Relay.app to sync with your Webflow account.
Activate your Relay.app playbook
Activating your playbook is the final step to automate the creation of a new item in Webflow. Once turned on, it will respond to each newly received form in Google Forms by creating a new item in Webflow without manual intervention.
To enable your playbook, click the toggle button located in the header. It is advisable to perform a test run of your playbook beforehand to ensure all steps work seamlessly together and reminders are being sent correctly.
