How to automatically move a file from one folder to another in Dropbox whenever a new email with a specific label is received in your Gmail
Create your playbook and set the Gmail trigger as "Email received"
After creating your playbook, you can proceed to add your trigger. The trigger detects changes in your connected apps and responds to your playbook.
To set up this playbook, click "Add trigger" and then select "Email received" under Gmail. Then, select the necessary details. This will allow your playbook to automatically detect the new email received in Gmail and initiate necessary actions.
If this is your first time using a Gmail integration in Relay.app, a prompt will guide you through the connection process.
Add the "Move file" in Dropbox automation
Integrate the Dropbox automation into your playbook to ensure the prompt moving of the specific file whenever a label is added to the specific new email received in Gmail.
Click the "Add step" button, then locate the "Move file" automation for Dropbox and input the mandatory and relevant details.
If your Dropbox account isn't already connected to Relay.app, you will be prompted to complete that connection. Make sure to allow the necessary permissions for Relay.app to sync with your Dropbox account.
Activate your Relay.app playbook
Activating your playbook is the final step to automate moving of the specific file in Dropbox. Once turned on, it will respond whenever a label is added to the specific email received in Gmail by moving the specific file to another folder in Dropbox without manual intervention.
To enable your playbook, click the toggle button located in the header. It is advisable to perform a test run of your playbook beforehand to ensure all steps work seamlessly together and reminders are being sent correctly.
