How to send an email in Outlook when a subscription is cancelled in Paddle
Set the Paddle trigger as "Subscription status changed"
Every playbook starts with a trigger. The trigger detects changes in your connected apps and runs your playbook in response.
Click "Add trigger" and select "Subscription status changed" under Paddle. This will allow your playbook to automatically detect the cancellation of subscription in Paddle and initiate necessary actions.
If this is your first time using a (APP1) integration in Relay.app, a prompt will guide you through the connection process.
Add the "Send email" in Outlook automation
Integrate the Outlook automation into your playbook to ensure the prompt sending of an email in Outlook when there's a cancellation of subscription in Paddle.
Click the "Add step" button, then locate the "Send email" automation for Outlook and input the mandatory and relevant details.
If your Outlook account isn't already connected to Relay.app, you will be prompted to complete that connection. Make sure to allow the necessary permissions for Relay.app to sync with your Outlook account.
Activate your Relay.app playbook
Activating your playbook is the final step to automate the sending of an email in Outlook. Once turned on, it will respond to every cancellation of subscription in Paddle by sending an email in Outlook without manual intervention.
To enable your playbook, click the toggle button located in the header. It is advisable to perform a test run of your playbook beforehand to ensure all steps work seamlessly together and reminders are being sent correctly.
