How to sync new Pipedrive contacts to Airtable

Relay.app is an automation tool that lets you automate actions across Pipedrive, Airtable, and many other apps.

1

Set the Pipedrive trigger as “Person added"

Add the Pipedrive trigger to initiate your playbook's actions before adding a person.

To do this, click "Add trigger" in your playbook. Select the "Person added" trigger option from the dropdown menu under Pipedrive. It will enable your playbook to identify the newly added persons and trigger necessary actions automatically.

If you have yet to connect your Pipedrive account to Relay, a prompt will guide you through the connection process.

2

Add the “Add record to table” in Airtable

Integrate Airtable automation to add records from new Pipedrive contacts instantly.

Select "Add Step" and search for the "Add row to sheet" automation. Then, choose the table where you want to add a record - let's say it's the "Contacts" table. Once you've selected the table, click on all the relevant fields and fill in the necessary details, such as the Email, First name, Label, Last name, Name, Notes, Organization, and Phone.

If you still need to connect your Airtable account to Relay, you will be prompted to complete that connection. Make sure to allow the necessary permissions for Relay to add records through your Airtable account.

3

Activate your playbook

Activating your playbook is the last step to add a record for your Pipedrive contacts to Airtable. Once you turn it on, the playbook automatically syncs new Pipedrive contacts to Airtable without manual intervention.

To activate your playbook, click the toggle button in the header. Before starting it, we recommend running a test to ensure all the steps work seamlessly together.
