How to update a Jira issue when a deal stage changes in Pipedrive
Add the Pipedrive "Deal stage changed" trigger
Every playbook starts with a trigger. The trigger detects changes in your connected apps and runs your playbook in response.
Click "Add trigger" and select "Deal stage changed" under Pipedrive. Then, select the specific deals you're interested in. This trigger will automatically detect all the deal stage changes in Pipedrive to update the corresponding issue in Jira.
If this is your first time using a Pipedrive integration in Relay, you'll be prompted to connect your Pipedrive account.
Add the Jira "Get issue" & "Update issue" automation
Integrate the Jira automation into your playbook to ensure the prompt update of the corresponding issue in Jira for every deal stage change in Pipedrive. Add a new step and select "Get issue" & "Update issue" from the list of Jira automations.
Connect Jira to Relay if you haven't already, then fill out the mandatory and relevant details. You can reference fields from Pipedrive to automatically pass along the right data.
Turn on the playbook
Activating your playbook is the final step to automate updating the Jira issue for every deal stage change in Pipedrive. Once turned on, it will respond to every deal stage change in Pipedrive by updating the corresponding issue in Jira without manual intervention.
To enable your playbook, click the toggle button located in the header. It is advisable to perform a test run of your playbook beforehand to ensure all steps work seamlessly together and reminders are sent correctly.
