How to automatically sync new projects in Asana with Todoist projects
Create your playbook and set the Asana trigger as "New project added"
After creating your playbook, you can proceed to add your trigger. The trigger detects changes in your connected apps and runs your playbook in response.
To setup this playbook, click "Add trigger" and then select "New project added" under Asana. Then, select your workspace. If this is your first time using a Asana integration in Relay.app, you'll be prompted to connect your Asana account.
Now, every time a project is added in Asana, your playbook will run automatically.
Add the "Create project" in Todoist automation
Integrate the Todoist automation into your playbook to ensure the prompt creation of a new project in Todoist when a new project has been added in Asana.
Click the "Add step" button, then locate the "Create project" automation for Todoist and input the mandatory and relevant details.
If your Todoist account isn't already connected to Relay.app, you will be prompted to complete that connection. Make sure to allow the necessary permissions for Relay.app to sync with your Todoist account.
Activate your Relay.app playbook
Activating your playbook is the final step to automate the creation of a new project in Todoist. Once turned on, it will respond to each newly added project in Asana by creating a new project in Todoist without manual intervention.
To enable your playbook, click the toggle button located in the header. It is advisable to perform a test run of your playbook beforehand to ensure all steps work seamlessly together and reminders are being sent correctly.
