How to automatically tag Mailchimp contacts automatically when a deal reaches a certain stage in HubSpot
Set the HubSpot trigger as “Deal stage reached”
To activate actions in your playbook before a particular deal stage is reached in HubSpot, you need to add a trigger.
To do this, access your playbook and click "Add trigger" from the HubSpot options, and select the "Deal stage reached" trigger. Next, choose the Pipeline (e.g., "Sales Pipeline") you want to work with and the corresponding stage (e.g., "Contract sent"). This will allow your playbook to identify the new deal stage reached and perform the required actions automatically.
If you haven't connected your HubSpot account with Relay.app yet, a prompt will guide you through the connection process.
Add the “Get or create tag” in Mailchimp step
Integrate the Mailchimp automation to instantly get or create a tag from the new HubSpot deal stage reached.
Select "Add step," then locate the "Get or create tag" automation, and input the relevant details, such as Audience, and Name.
If you still need to connect your Mailchimp account to Relay.app, you will be prompted to complete that connection. Make sure to allow the necessary permissions for Relay.app to get or create a tag through your Mailchimp account.
Activate your playbook
Activating your playbook is the final step to automate HubSpot via Mailchimp. Once turned on, it will respond to tag Mailchimp contacts automatically when a deal reaches a certain stage in HubSpot without manual intervention.
To enable your playbook, click the toggle button located in the header. It is advisable to perform a test run of your playbook beforehand to ensure all steps work seamlessly together.
