How to automatically update tagged Mailchimp members when HubSpot deals reach a new stage
Set the HubSpot trigger as “Deal stage reached”
To activate actions in your playbook before a particular deal stage is reached in HubSpot, you need to add a trigger.
To do this, access your playbook and click "Add trigger." From the HubSpot options, select the "Deal stage reached" trigger. Next, choose the Pipeline (e.g., "Sales Pipeline") you want to work with and the corresponding stage (e.g., "Contract sent"). This will allow your playbook to identify the new deal stage reached and perform the required actions automatically.
If you haven't connected your HubSpot account with Relay.app yet, a prompt will guide you through the connection process.
Add the “Update member tags” in Mailchimp step
Integrate the Mailchimp automation to update member tags from new HubSpot deals instantly.
Select "Add step," then locate the "Update member tags" automation, and input the relevant details, such as Audience, Email address, Tags you want to add, and Tags to remove.
If you still need to connect your Mailchimp account to Relay.app, you will be prompted to complete that connection. Make sure to allow the necessary permissions for Relay.app to update tags through your Mailchimp account.
Activate your playbook
Activating your playbook is the last step. Once you turn it on, the playbook automatically updates tag Mailchimp members when HubSpot deals reach a new stage without manual intervention.
To enable your playbook, click the toggle button located in the header. It is advisable to perform a test run of your playbook beforehand to ensure all steps work seamlessly together.
