Set the HubSpot trigger as “Deal changed”
To activate your playbook's actions before modifying a deal in HubSpot, you need to add a trigger.
Go to your playbook and click "Add trigger." Select the "Deal changed" trigger from the HubSpot options and then choose the Pipeline you want to work with (e.g., "Sales Pipeline"). After that, select a field that you want to monitor for changes (e.g., "Amount"). This will allow your playbook to identify new deal changes and perform the necessary actions automatically.
If you haven't connected your HubSpot account to Relay.app yet, a prompt will guide you through the connection process.
Add the “Update member tags” in Mailchimp step
Integrate the Mailchimp automation to instantly update member tags from new HubSpot deal changes.
Select "Add step," then locate the "Update member tags" automation, and input the relevant details, such as Audience, Email address, Tags that you want to add, and Tags to remove.
If you still need to connect your Mailchimp account to Relay.app, you will be prompted to complete that connection. Make sure to allow the necessary permissions for Relay.app to update tags through your Mailchimp account.
Activate your playbook
Activating your playbook is the final step to automate HubSpot via Mailchimp. Once turned on, it will respond to update Mailchimp member tags based on HubSpot deal changes without manual intervention.
