Add the Google Sheets "Row added" trigger

Every playbook starts with a trigger. The trigger detects changes in your connected apps and runs your playbook in response.

Click "Add trigger" and select "Row added" under Google Sheets. Then, select the sheet. This trigger will automatically detect all the new rows added in Google Sheets to send a new message through Front.

If this is your first time using a Google Sheets integration in Relay, you'll be prompted to connect your Google Sheets account.

2

Add the Front "Send message" automation

Integrate the Front automation into your playbook to ensure the message is promptly sent through Front for each new row added in Google Sheets. Add a new step and select "Send message" from the list of Front automations.

Connect Front to Relay if you haven't already, then fill out the mandatory and relevant details. You can reference fields from Google Sheets to automatically pass along the right data.

3

Turn on the playbook

Activating your playbook is the final step to automate sending a new message in Front for every new row added in Google Sheets. Once turned on, it will respond to the new rows added in Google Sheets by sending a new message through Front without manual intervention.

To enable your playbook, click the toggle button located in the header. It is advisable to perform a test run of your playbook beforehand to ensure all steps work seamlessly together and reminders are sent correctly.
