How to send an email notification in Gmail when there's a detected payment attempt in Paddle
Set the Paddle trigger as "Payment attempt added"
Every playbook starts with a trigger. The trigger detects changes in your connected apps and runs your playbook in response.
Click "Add trigger" and select "Payment attempt added" under Paddle. Then, select essential information to proceed. This will allow your playbook to automatically detect any payment attempts made in Paddle and initiate necessary actions.
If this is your first time using a Paddle integration in Relay.app, a prompt will guide you through the connection process.
Add the "Send email" in Gmail automation
Integrate the Gmail automation into your playbook to ensure the prompt sending of email notifications whenever there is a payment attempt made in Paddle.
Click the "Add step" button, then locate the "Send email" automation for Gmail and input the mandatory and relevant details.
If your Gmail account isn't already connected to Relay.app, you will be prompted to complete that connection. Make sure to allow the necessary permissions for Relay.app to sync with your Gmail account.
Activate your Relay.app playbook
Activating your playbook is the final step to automate the sending of a new email in Gmail. Once turned on, it will respond to each payment attempt made in Paddle by sending an email notification via Gmail without manual intervention.
To enable your playbook, click the toggle button located in the header. It is advisable to perform a test run of your playbook beforehand to ensure all steps work seamlessly together and reminders are being sent correctly.
