How to send emails via Outlook for new Google Sheets spreadsheets added to a specific folder

Create your playbook and set the Google Sheets trigger as "Spreadsheet added to folder"

After creating your playbook, you can proceed to add your trigger. The trigger detects changes in your connected apps and responds to your playbook.

To setup this playbook, click "Add trigger" and then select "Spreadsheet added to folder" under Google Sheets. Then, select the parent folder where spreadsheets are added. This will allow your playbook to automatically detect the newly added Google Sheets spreadsheets and initiate necessary actions.

Add the "Send email" in Outlook automation

Integrate the Outlook automation into your playbook to ensure the prompt sending of an email via Outlook whenever a Google Sheets spreadsheet is added to a specific folder.

Click the "Add step" button, then locate the "Send email" automation for Outlook and input the mandatory and relevant details.

If your Outlook account isn't already connected to Relay.app, you will be prompted to complete that connection. Make sure to allow the necessary permissions for Relay.app to sync with your Outlook account.

Activate your Relay.app playbook

Activating your playbook is the final step to automate the sending of an email via Outlook. Once turned on, it will respond whenever a Google Sheets spreadsheet is added to specific folder by sending an email via Outlook without manual intervention.

To enable your playbook, click the toggle button located in the header. It is advisable to perform a test run of your playbook beforehand to ensure all steps work seamlessly together and reminders are being sent correctly.
